I’m a yoga teacher, bodyworker and sound healer. My work is that of a guide, taking you into your body, and supporting you to move through whatever’s there. Using movement, touch, and sound, I invite clients and students into a deep inner listening. I specialise in chronic pain and support clients through various pain conditions, as well as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia and the many other chronic health conditions.
My relationship with the body began as a kid and studying dance and theatre into my teenage years. As a young adult my movement practice took place solely at raves and on sweaty dance floors all over the world. These hedonistic days slowly left me looking for something more. I wanted a different way to experience the euphoria that until then I’d only found on the dance floor.
Finding yoga in my mid-twenties, this became a way to balance out the stress of my hectic lifestyle. Over time, my love of yoga eventually led me to travel India. After the sudden death of my mum and the huge grief journey that then unfolded, I made my way back to India, the heart of the world. I sat in the peaceful silence of Ashrams in the Himalayas, and this closeness to immortality was having a profound effect on me. It catapulted me into deep spiritual practice. I went on to complete my 200 hr training in 2016, and became an ashtanga yoga teacher. Massage had always been a transformative healing modality for me, and so I also trained at this time as an ayurvedic yoga massage therapist.
